Shivayra Jewels is committed to safeguarding your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We collect only what is strictly necessary to craft, invoice, and deliver your silver order.
- 1. Information we collect
- We collect your full legal name, mobile contact number, shipping and billing addresses, email address, and order history. If you request a business tax invoice, we collect your GSTIN. All payment card and UPI details are captured and processed directly by RBI-regulated payment gateways via 256-bit encrypted channels. Shivayra Jewels never stores your debit/credit card numbers or CVVs on our servers.
- 2. Why we process your data
- Your data is processed strictly for contractual and statutory obligations: • To manufacture, package, and dispatch your order. • To generate mandatory GST tax invoices. • To provide automated courier tracking via SMS, WhatsApp, and email. • To service warranty, return, and exchange requests.
- 3. Zero sale of personal data
- We maintain a strict privacy policy: Shivayra Jewels does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize customer personal information to any third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.
- 4. Authorized service partners
- Your information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with trusted operational partners: • Insured logistics carriers (BlueDart, Delhivery, Sequel Logistics, India Post) receive your name, address, and mobile number to fulfill delivery and verify delivery OTPs. • RBI-licensed payment gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree) to securely settle payments. • Encrypted cloud database systems protected by AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
- 5. Data retention
- Order and tax invoice records are retained for a statutory period of 7 years in accordance with Indian tax laws (Goods and Services Tax Act and Income Tax Act). Personal data not required for statutory compliance may be deleted upon customer request.
- 6. Your consumer rights (DPDPA 2023)
- Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to: • Access a summary of the personal data processed about you. • Correct, complete, or update any inaccurate personal data. • Request the erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary for transaction or statutory purposes. • Withdraw marketing communication consent at any time.
